At NIO Robotics we keep our data practices simple and transparent. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. The short version: the only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through our contact form, and we use it only to respond to you.

NIO Robotics Inc. is a robotics company based in Montréal, Québec, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this site. What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect only what you provide: your name, your company, your email address, the sector or interest you select, and the message you write. We do not collect anything else, and we do not track your browsing.

Why we collect it
We collect this information for one purpose: to respond to your request and to contact you about WALBOT, a pilot project, an investment, or a partnership. We process it on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to handle your request and the relationship that follows. If nothing comes of it, we delete your information. You can also ask us to delete it at any time.

Who sees it
Your information is handled directly by NIO Robotics. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To operate the contact form, your message is delivered to our email and may pass through a form-delivery service that processes it solely on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of NIO Robotics or others.

Your rights
Under Québec's Law 25 and applicable Canadian privacy law, you may: access the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email Ali.Chokre@niorobotics.ca and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Cookies and tracking
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not profile you. To display its typography, the site loads a web font from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of that request. That is the only third-party request the site makes.

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including serving this site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we are committed to keeping your information safe.

Where your information is processed
NIO Robotics operates from Canada. Depending on the email or form-delivery tools we use, your information may be processed on servers located outside Québec or Canada. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.

If we make meaningful changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it from time to time.
